The Chinese smartphone manufacturing company just revealed its new smartphone in Pakistan. Which claims to have “world’s best smartphone camera.”
Huawei P20 Pro was showcased at the Ejaz Art Gallery in Lahore. In the unveiling event of this smartphone, we grabbed the features and looks which are noted below.
Well before telling you what happened at the event, let’s just address the claim mentioned above.
Huawei P20 Pro scored 109 by the DxO marking:
The Chinese smartphone company didn’t just throw the claim in the air but DxO marking gave it the green signal to show-off.
Dxo marking is a trusted and independent industry standard for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings. The platform gave Huawei P20 Pro overall 109 score, which is the highest score!
Interestingly, the second highest score of 102 is Huawei P20’s score.
Guess who’s score did the smartphone beat on the DxO marking?
The new DxO marking king is now the Huawei P20 Pro replacing the previous DxOMark king, the Samsung Galaxy S9+, which had an overall score of 99 when it launched last month during MWC 2018. Google Pixel 2 remained the king for a long time until the launch of Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Huawei P20 Pro, it was reviewed as one of the best smartphone cameras in the world
So now we know who’s the real king.
This year in March the smartphone giant released its flagship smartphones in Paris, France. And showed-off its features and qualities of the best camera phone. Obliging to its nature, the city of love showed immense love to the flagship series of Huawei.
But now that smartphone traveled all the way to Pakistan, Lahore, we are anticipated to see what reviews do our fellow Pakistanis have.

Is Huawei capable of competing with the smartphone giants, Apple and Samsung?
Its now like smartphone industry ritual to compare Samsung to Apple, Android smartphones to its smartphones. But now the third competitor is making its way towards the competition.
First of all, let’s just address the above question. We haven’t used Huawei’s P20 Pro ourselves but we do believe in independent and authorized reviews and markings.
So here it goes:
Getting into the details of DxO marking, the P20 Pro aced in the photos and video scores which are 114 and 98 respectively. These scores are individually quite above and beyond there closest rivals Samsung and Apple.
The company said that,
“The P20 Pro’s triple-camera setup is the biggest innovation we have seen in mobile imaging for quite some time and is a real game-changer.”
Moreover, DxO marking appraises the Huawei flagships for extremely fast and accurate autofocus, zooming and efficient stabilization.
So now I guess you know what to opt for if you want a small out-of-the-box camera results.
